Dead Presidents, sick, and wine

Another great thing about dead presidents is they get you day off work. I seem to recall back in the grade school days, getting a day off for Lincoln and another for Washington. However; for employment I only get Presidents day. One that interests me in so much as it occasionally lands on my birthday and thus by proxy makes it a holiday I pay attention to.

This one will hopefully soon be forgotten. The whole tribe has come down with the, "Oh my gods this crud has been dragging on for a week and just when I started to feel better it got worse." The youngest of course has come through the long tunnel and is about recovered, just as we are getting taken by the worst of it. She's ready to bounce off the walls having been couped up for a whole week. We of course just want to sleep.

I pretended I was OK enough to rearrange the living room which makes it a little more livable. I also took my first forays into back-sweetening wine and starting a Blueberry wine. Hopefully they will all be grand. I'm almost ready to bust out the Green tea and Ginger wine I just bottled. As there is no ginger in our house. I'm at a total loss how can anyone cure themselves of anything without Ginger? I will soon need to find some ginger or this might linger on indefinetly.
